Terms and Conditions

The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights according to United Kingdom law.

Products
There will be no substitute for products ordered. In the unlikely event that the product is out of stock the recipient will be contacted next day from order and offered a new despatch date or a refund for the unavailable product.

Payment
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Switch.

The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay. If you are ordering from a non United Kingdom address the appropriate exchange rate will apply.

In the unlikely event that your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase, you the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.

International Orders
We regret that if your order is being dispatched to an address outside the UK, it is possible that the local customs may impose additional import duties and customs charges. These are levied at the port of ingress on a ‘consignment by consignment’ basis and we cannot therefore predict if they will be charged and are unable to influence if and how these may be levied. You will be responsible for these charges as levied.

Cancelling your Order
In accordance with the Distance selling Directive (2000) you may cancel your order at any time without reason for a period of seven working days starting the day after receipt of goods. Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund you must confirm this in writting and return the packaged item(s) to:

Please be aware that you will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send them back. We regret that a refund can only be provided for items received back by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damaged Goods
We take care to ensure that your goods are dispatched in perfect condition. If when it has been received you are unhappy with its condition you can reject the delivery, inform the courier, and tell him to return the affected items to us.

If you have any concerns about your privacy, please contact Andy using the details on our contact page . We collect all information given at time of ordering/registering. This information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We use this information for market research and mail out promotions from Hamiltons Fine Foods. We do not pass your details on to any third party. If you do not wish to receive these mailings, please contact Andy using the details on our contact page.
Complaints
If you feel you have reason to complain, please contact Andy using the details on our contact page. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days.
